When buying on davidjones.com opt-in to adding your new purchase to The Volte by ticking the checkbox on the item you're interested in.

After opting-in and purchasing your item, you will receive an email from The Volte asking you to sign up. Once signed up, your new purchase will be added to your digital closet, ready to list.

LIST

When you're ready to earn from a new purchase; simply login to your The Volte account, select how much you want to rent your item for and leave the rest to The Volte. Your item will be available to rent on our marketplace by women across Australia. Opt-in to our insurance coverage for peace of mind.

What is The Volte?

The Volte is Australia's largest, womens designer fashion peer to peer rental marketplace. We connect people who want to earn from their closet, to those who want to wear a range of beautiful designer clothing with just one click.

Can I list any product I buy from David Jones?

Only items with The Volte widget can be listed. This is currently restricted to women's designer clothing and accessories. Items that can be listed on The Volte are subject to The Volte's lending terms and conditions.and privacy policy.

Will my David Jones account be linked to The Volte?

No, your David Jones account will not be linked to your The Volte account.

How long do I have to list the item I bought from David Jones on The Volte?

Items can be listed to The Volte as long as they are in good wearable condition and in line with The Volte lending terms and conditions.

I forgot to add my items to The Volte when I purchased them from David Jones, can I still list them on The Volte?

Yes! You can add the item directly to your The Volte account by signing up here.

How do I list an item on The Volte?

Login to your The Volte account and access the Lender Dashboard. You will be able to find your item in your listings and publish it for rent. If you have any issues listing your item please contact The Volte Support, via live chat or our contact page.

What do I do when I receive an order on The Volte?

Once you receive an order, you will need to make sure your item is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Package the item in an express shipping parcel (and include a return one if this is a rental) and send it to the Lender by their booking date.
