The Fruit for this wine was grown in the Wairau (predominant) and Awatere Valleys where typical warm days and cool nights provide classic flavours, intensity and definition.Vineyard selection for this wine was based on the potential of each site to produce wines which show tropical fruit flavours and generosity.
TASTING NOTES
Expressive tropical bouquet of mango, guava and passionfruit. Crisp, clean and crunchy with excellent intensity and moderate length.
Colour: Mid golden yellow with a clear hue.
Nose: Aromas of intense passionfruit ripe stone fruits
Palate: Mid-palate weight providing classic flavour definition. Ripe gooseberries at the front of the palate.
