Vinum is RIEDEL's basic varietal specific stemmed series. Designed in 1986 by 10th generation glassmaker Georg J. Riedel, Vinum was created to ensure every wine lover could afford varietal-specific glassware. Based on the handmade Sommeliers range, machine production means Vinum can be offered at a more accessible price.

The Sauvignon Blanc/Dessert Wine glass is perfect for all styles of this variety, from Bordeaux's oak-aged, honeyed blends to Marlborough's grassy fruit explosions. The bowl offers freshness and intensity on the nose, a harmonious palate balancing fruit and acidity, and a minerally finish. It follows a series of workshops hosted by 10th generation Georg J. Riedel in 1997, which was the most extensive global search for the optimum glass shape.
