Hugh and Jane Faulkner fell in love with a vineyard, situated on the foothills of the Masif des Maures, in the centre of the Var, and settled at the property in 1989. Their eldest son Julian would eventually take over the running of the vineyard in 2000. Pure Provence in style, this is a great all-occasions wine, and a first rate introduction to French rosé. Made and priced to over-deliver, the 11th consecutive vintage we¿ve imported. ¿Straight-down-the-line good drinking rosé here. It offers crisp red fruit, a lick of herb, goes a little bit creamy, but has bright acidity to balance, some tangerine and citrus bite, a bit of flint to texture, and a crisp finish of good length.
