PROFILE
In the late 17th century, Françoise Cattin, born in Porrentruy, Switzerland, came to settle in this small Alsatian village of Voegtlinshoffen locating 10 kilometres south of Colmar. In 1720, Françoise Cattin decided to become a winemaker in addition to his job as a builder. The next 11 generations continued his legacy and this is how the family business started.
TASTING NOTES
This Pinot Gris is spicy and smoky, with an extraordinary aromatic complexity and a bright, light gold colour. It has fruity aromas such as apricots with a hint of honey and beeswax and a half dry style that is balanced between spiciness and a light touch of fruitiness leaving a fresh finish.
