Founded in 1843 the Glenmorangie distillery makes single malt Highland Scotch Whisky and is one of the best selling malts in Scotland. Their mascot is the giraffe. They say their stills are the same height as the giraffe, allowing more development of flavour and complexity. Combine this with the team of distillers and you have a recipe for success. Original is eager to please, yet not lacking complexity. A soft nose features honey, vanilla, sweet orange, and caramel. Hazelnuts dipped in honey and more orange, along with red apples on the rounded, buttery palate.
