Extra old cognac: one of the oldest age classification, controlled by the cognac appellation.Grande Champagne: The first and finest Cognac sub-region, above Petite and Fine Champagne.Aged in the grand chai, Delamain's most emblematic cellar, dating back to the French revolution with thick wall, made of local limestone, contributing to the ideal aging conditions. Under ground level, with the right level of moisture but strong temperature variations, concentrating the cognac aromas.Bottled in an exclusive decanter inspired by the antique Delamain bottle conveying the historical brand identity as well as distinction and elegance.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Rounded and complex with tantalisingly fruity aromas of passion fruit, and orange zest, vanilla and fresh almonds.
Palate: Raisins and rich candied fruits, a feast for the palate. A balanced and elegant style, exquisitely interwoven with subtle oaky notes.
