Our Yarra Valley Estate in Victoria is one of the largest in the region, with more than 240 hectares of lush green vineyards flourishing in the cool climate and fertile soil. The Yarra Valley has a rich history of premium winemaking dating back more than 150 years. We're proud to continue this tradition, with a 'less is more' approach that allows each wine to express the character and flavour of the region. We grow a good mix of varieties, including Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, as well as lesser known varieties such as Viognier, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. From the Lusatia Park vineyard at Woori Yallock, purchased by De Bortoli family in 2016. Whole-bunch pressed, barrel fermented and matured for 9 months in both new and used French oak casks. Bright green gold. Restrained with good fruit purity. Yellow pear, white nectarines and a hint of jasmine, the palate is a happy mix of being both textured and refreshing.
