Below the Clouds is a label produced by Clark Estate and hails from sunny Marlborough in New Zealand¿s South Island. The area producing fruity vibrant and delicious drinking wines on the world stage now for many years. Peter and Jane Clark moved there in the late 1980s, planted some vines and the rest as they say is history. It¿s a family affair with son Simon in charge of the wine side of things and their daughter, Sarah, the marketing and sales. Most of their production comes from the Awatere Valley subzone. They focus on white wines but also make a little Pinot Noir. PWS

Textbook Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region, tropical fruit, passionfruit and guava, tart and dry with medium body and acidity. Drink cold on a warm day with a plate of seafood.
