The Barbour story began in 1894 and today the 5th generation, quintessentially British family business is still headquartered in South Shields in the north of England. Whilst product is sourced globally, Barbour's classic wax jackets (for humans and dogs) and dog beds are manufactured by hand in their factory in Simonside.
