Two complimentary lounge access passes are available to David Jones Prestige account holders during a calendar year. Each booking is admission to one (1) person only. To access passes, account holders must confirm their lounge booking in advance through the Luxury Escape website. Please provide promo code available in the Latitude Mobile App for your account to gain complementary lounge access. Once confirmed, you will receive booking confirmation email. Lounges are available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

David Jones Prestige customers will be able to access international lounges provided by luxury escapes in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth airports. For instructions on how to book your airport lounge, please refer to the Latitude Help Centre page.

Yes, you will need to purchase your travel on your David Jones Prestige card to be eligible for the travel insurance benefits.

Where you have made a transaction on your David Jones American Express Card before it is cancelled, you will continue to be covered under your David Jones American Express insurance policy. You can earn points on transactions wherever Mastercard is accepted including overseas purchases.

You will receive 3 points for every dollar spent at major participating supermarkets and petrol stations. Please review the participating list here. • You can pay your Card bill faster directly from your bank account using your unique American Express Card PayID. Before paying for the first time, you must activate your Amex Card PayID by visiting americanexpress.com.au/activatepayid or by logging into your Online Account, selecting the ‘Payments’ tab and clicking on ‘View or Activate your PayID’. • Pay by BPAY®, online or over the phone (For Cards beginning with 3777: You will need to enter Biller Code: 88013, and your 15 digit Account Number. For all other Cards: You will need to enter Biller Code: 3020 and your David Jones Storecard or Account Number)

Pay in person by EFTPOS at any of the following:

• Australia Post* using EFTPOS.
• Cheque payments are only available at Australia Post Office.
• Simply take your EFTPOS card or cheque, your Card, and your current posted Card Account statement with you. Payments are limited to no greater than your current Card Account closing balance and you will be charged a $3 handling fee. It can take up to three days to process your payment. If you’re enrolled in Online statements, then you won’t be able to pay in person.
• By mail, please see your statement for details

Last year we announced that the Credit Card partnership between David Jones and American Express is coming to an end.

David Jones has now partnered with Latitude Financial Services to create a new David Jones credit card program, backed by Mastercard®.

David Jones and Latitude will provide further details about the new David Jones credit card program in the coming months. If you have an eligible David Jones Storecard, you will be transitioned onto a new David Jones credit card, which is expected to occur in July 2024. As part of the transition process, your outstanding balance on your existing David Jones Card will be transferred from American Express to Latitude and you will be issued with a brand new David Jones credit card. Your outstanding balance will be payable to Latitude.

We will share more information with you via email or through the post in the coming months with details about the features and benefits of your new credit card and tell you when it’s arriving.

To ensure we can contact you about your new credit card, check and update your contact details and postal address, through your current American Express Online Account. You can keep using your David Jones Card normally.

Eligible active David Jones cardholders will receive a new David Jones credit card automatically. As part of the transition process, your outstanding balance on your existing David Jones Card will be transferred from American Express to Latitude and you will be issued with a brand-new David Jones credit card.

No, you don’t need to cancel your existing David Jones Storecard. Eligible active cardholders we will be issued a new David Jones credit card and your current David Jones Card will be cancelled in July 2024.

Your balance and membership rewards points will be transferred to your new David Jones credit card account. To shop with your new David Jones credit card, all you need to do is activate the card.

You will be sent another David Jones Storecard until the new David Jones credit card program is launched.

As part of the transition process, your outstanding balance on your existing David Jones Card will be transferred from American Express to Latitude and you will be issued with a brand-new David Jones credit card. Your outstanding balance will be payable to Latitude.

In the interim, please continue paying your account on its current due date, as per your statement.

If you have recently cancelled your David Jones Card and have an outstanding balance, your balance will not be transferred to a new David Jones credit card. You will need to continue to pay down your balance with American Express.

You will need to update any scheduled payments or subscriptions you have with your David Jones Card.

You’ll need to contact retailers directly and provide them with your new credit card number.

Your member reward points balance will be transferred across to your new David Jones credit card.

There is no need to redeem your points before the transfer.

Your existing reward points will transfer to the new David Jones points program. These points will transfer at a 1:1 value e.g if you have 20,000 points today, you will receive 20,000 David Jones points as part of the transition.
