BY JOHNNY. is the brainchild of Australian fashion designer Johnny Schembri. Founded in 2009, the brand had its start as a humble stall at Sydney’s Paddington Markets as a collaboration with his sister Renee, and quickly gained national recognition after Schembri placed third in reality television series, Project Runway.

BY JOHNNY.’s success at Australian Fashion Week has seen the label cement its place in the industry, with the brand becoming a favourite among local and international actresses, artists and fashion bloggers alike.

The Label is inspired by design concepts from past and present, reworking traditional silhouettes and creating collections for the individual who appreciates effortless style with a unique and modern edge.

Creating party-perfect dresses that are form-fitting and flatter the figure, each article is designed in-house, and to this day, lovingly made in Australia.
