Two tonne Tasmania began in early 2013 when a young local winemaker, ricky evans, managed to nudge into the tightly held tamar valley. An opportunity arose, and he grasped it, ttt began, yes, with a couple of tonne of pinot noir. A simple and literal name, a reference and reminder of what this project is all about; Small parcels | big love.

Tamar Valley Riesling from the Three Wishes Vineyard, planted in 1999 at Hillwood, and two small plots at Relbia further south. Pristine green apple, lime and grapefruit notes with hints of wildflowers, lime zest, crushed stone and citrus blossom. There's just a swell of RS richness on the palate, drawn into line thanks to a seam of crystalline, minerally acidity, the wine coiling ¿ tension, then resolution as it flows with cadence, texture and lovely apple-lime fruit off into the distance.
