Chichibu Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve Whisky 700ml PROFILEA Blend of Pure Malts which have been matured in French Oak Red Wine Barrels from Chichibu Distillery. Widely regarded as one of Ichiro's best and is becoming increasingly hard to find. TASTING NOTESNose: Starts with strong red wine notes, oak wood. Later more red fruits & berries then wine, dark chocolate. Later some orange flavours shows up. Very rich nose!Palate: Tingling sensation at first, then wood, spicy with peppery edge, nuts, chocolate, red fruits. Not exactly wine influenced.Finish: Quite long. Malty, stays hot spicy with peppers, bittersweet with long fading gentle wood notes. Colour: Reddish GoldNose: Red Wine, Oak, BerriesPalate: Oak, Spice, Nuts, ChocolateFinish: Long and Malty, Pepper SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Best enjoyed Neat, On Ice or with a drop of water.
